Public hearing on Saddle Ridge application to build high density housing in watershed

The Easton Conservation Commission will be holding a public hearing Tuesday, April 26th at 8 PM in the Helen Keller Middle School Cafetorium. A show of public support for the CFE position would be helpful, so show up if you can.

If you are unfamiliar with this issue (an attempt to break zoning and build high density housing within a vital public watershed) please click here for more information.

In an earlier meeting the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously rejected the plan due to the danger it poses to the watershed. The developer has subsequently amended the plan from 105 to 99 units and made some engineering changes. This somewhat modified plan is what is being presented to the Easton Conservation Commission/Inland Wetlands and Watercourse Agency. It is the first time this agency is is hearing the plan in any form.
