The Conservation Commission Public Hearing will be tentatively held on Monday July 20 to discuss the Saddle Ridge revised map 24-lot subdivision located at Sport Hill, Silver Hill, Cedar Hill and Westport Roads.
The P&Z public hearing will be tentatively held on the following night-July 21
There have not yet been any public hearings noticed, so there are no agendas as of yet.
This is the first application to be filed under the new Conservation Cluster Housing Regulation (Section 5900 of Easton’s Zoning Regulations). The regulation allows lots smaller than the 3 acres previously required in Zone B.
The Saddle Ridge application proposes for all 24 lots to be smaller than 3 acres, all but two to be less than than 2 acres, with one lot as small as .96 acres!
This is a very sensitive piece of property which occupies the upper portion of two headwater drainage systems of public water supply reservoirs- the Aspetuck and the Easton Reservoirs
