This is the first application to be filed under the new Conservation Cluster Housing Regulation (Section 5900 of Easton’s Zoning Regulations). The regulation allows lots smaller than the 3 acres previously required in Zone B.
The Saddle Ridge application latest revision proposes all 24 lots to be smaller than 3 acres, all but two to be less than 2 acres, with one lot as small as .96 acres!
This is a very sensitive piece of property which occupies the upper portion of two headwater drainage systems of public water supply reservoirs- the Aspetuck and the Easton Reservoirs
