Conservation Commission Special Meeting-Site Walk on Saddle Ridge Saturday October 10, 2026 -10am

The Conservation Commission will hold a Special Meeting at 10 AM Saturday October 10, 2026 for a site walk. Members of the Commission are meeting at the Cedar Hill Rd entrance which is marked by an Iron Gate-between Numbers 34 and 64.

This is the first application to be filed under the new Conservation Cluster Housing Regulation (Section 5900 of Easton’s Zoning Regulations). The regulation allows lots smaller than the 3 acres previously required in Zone B.

The Saddle Ridge application latest revision proposes all 24 lots to be smaller than 3 acres, all but two to be less than 2 acres, with one lot as small as .96 acres!

This is a very sensitive piece of property which occupies the upper portion of two headwater drainage systems of public water supply reservoirs- the Aspetuck and the Easton Reservoirs
